The Horse Box, parked in St Peter's Church car park, will be providing tea, coffee etc between 1 pm and 6 pm on Friday and 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday. James Findlay will be open for wines and spirits at the evening events.

With funding from Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival, Libraries Unlimited is providing the school with a variety of specially designed sessions inspired by the charity’s unique reading challenge: The Secret Book Quest.

Onjali Raúf's work is informed in part by her British Bangladeshi heritage and experiences of racism in childhood. “When I started being called Paki, I started to feel [my difference]. I wondered: why is there no one who looks like me in the books? So I wanted to write those characters.”

Exeter City of Literature celebrates its fifth anniversary as a UNESCO City of Literature. They sponsored the Spork Poetry event at the Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival.

Students from various schools attended a day long poetry workshop run by the Exeter based spoken word group Spork.

James Reynolds is a year 13 student at Exmouth Community College Post 16, studying English Literature, History and Philosophy and Ethics. He will be writing short reviews on some of the talks at this year's festival.
