How to travel to Budleigh Salterton

From the M5, exit at Junction 30 (Exeter) and follow signs for Exmouth initially, then follow signs for Budleigh Salterton. This will take about 25 minutes if the traffic is light.

Car satnavs should be set to EX9 6RJ, Station Road, which will bring you to the Public Hall, the Festival Marquee and a car park.

There is no railway service to Budleigh Salterton.

The nearest railway station is Exmouth (about 6 miles from Budleigh Salterton).

Taxis are used to travelling from there to Budleigh Salterton but there is no taxi rank at Exmouth Station. Taxis can be pre-booked to meet a particular incoming train time. One option is A J’s Taxis which is close the railway station: 01395 222 655 but there are other taxi firms.

Exmouth is served well by trains from Exeter St David’s railway station. That journey takes about half an hour. If you are travelling from some distance away, go first to Exeter St David’s railway station and then on a different train from there to Exmouth. Both train services are run by GWR.
