Children’s writing icon Michael Rosen is pictured here with a specially prepared treat to celebrate his marvellous poem Chocolate Cake.

He did a wonderfully entertaining presentation on ideas for writing and also read poems and signed books for some 500 Year 7 pupils at Exmouth Community College. He then went on to entertain a hugely appreciative audience of (mostly!) adults in Budleigh Salterton – one of the most popular events of the 2018 Literary Festival.
