HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?

Tickets, subject to availability, can be purchased:

Online or

By telephone: 0333 666 3366 (open Mon-Fri 9am-7.30pm excluding bank holidays). Telephone bookings are subject to a booking charge of £2.00 which includes postage of your ticket. Tickets can be posted up to 96 hours before an event.

In person, during the September Festival, in the Festival Marquee

Tickets cannot be ordered by email.

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE LOST MY TICKETS?

eTickets (print at home) can be re-sent to you by our ticketing agent, TicketSource, by clicking here and completing the form under the heading “Lost your eticket?;

For lost mobile or postal tickets, please click here to email support@ticketsource.co.uk with your details. TicketSource will re-send the tickets.

During the Festival week in September, please go to the Ticket Desk in the Festival Marquee and we will be pleased to assist.

HOW DO I WATCH AN ONLINE EVENT?

After booking, you will receive an email from TicketSource. In that email, under the heading "Additional Information", you will see how to view the online event, when it is available for viewing, a clickable link to the online event page and your access code (which is different from your ticket number). On the online event page, put the access code into the box and click on "Watch Video".

If your access code is not accepted, please try again and enter it exactly as it is in the email from TicketSource. If you "cut and paste" the access code, be sure not to copy a space before or after it.

WHERE CAN I PARK IN BUDLEIGH SALTERTON?

Car parks are shown on the Festival map here. Parking can be difficult in Budleigh Salterton during the Festival, so please allow plenty of time.

WHAT IS “REFUND PROTECTION”?

This is run by Booking Protect Limited (not by the Festival) and you can choose to take out refund protection when you book tickets. Full information, with a copy of the full terms, is sent out with your booking confirmation email from TicketSource. If you cannot locate that email, the terms and conditions are here or if you need to lodge a claim, do it here online.

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE?

If an Event is sold out, it will say so on this web site in the entry for the Event. Keep checking as more tickets sometimes become available during the run up to the Festival. If it does not say "Sold out", tickets are still available.

At the September Festival, if you want tickets for a sold-out event, please look on the Ticket Returns Board next to the Ticket Desk in the Festival Marquee. There people post availability of tickets they cannot use.

WHEN DO EVENTS FINISH?

The start and finish time of every Event is shown on your ticket.

WHY DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY EMAIL ADDRESS WHEN BOOKING TICKETS?

For online booking you must provide your email address during booking so that you can receive your tickets by email and so that we can contact you if there is a change to the event or its venue. You will receive a confirmation email from TicketSource that enables you to download and print your ticket(s). If the email is not in your Inbox, please check your junk & spam boxes.

When booking by telephone (0333 666 3366) please provide your email address to the box office so that we can contact you about any change in your booked event or its venue.

(We do not put your email address on our mailing list unless you specifically agree)

IF I CAN’T COME, CAN I HAVE A REFUND?

Tickets are not refundable (unless the event is cancelled by the Festival) and we cannot exchange tickets. During the September Festival, there is a Ticket Returns Board in the Marquee behind the ticket desk. All returned ticket transactions are between the buyer and the seller, independent of the Festival.

HOW DO I FIND THE EVENT VENUES?

Your ticket shows the name of the Event venue and its address. Festival venues are shown on the Festival map here and walking times to them are shown below.

The Public Hall and Festival Marquees in Station Road, Budleigh Salterton, EX9 6RJ, are adjacent to each other. From there, the approximate time to walk to the other venues is:

St Peter’s Church :  7 minutes

Temple Church:  10 minutes

The Playhouse: 5 minutes

The Church on the Green:  2 minutes

The Masonic Hall:  6 minutes

The Library:  3 minutes

St Peter’s School: 12 minutes

DO YOU KEEP WAITING LISTS FOR SOLD OUT EVENTS?

Waiting lists for sold-out events are not maintained. On and after the first day of the September Festival, we operate a Ticket Returns Board next to the Ticket Desk in the Festival Marquee.

HOW DO I RESERVE A PLACE IF I HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS?

If you have special needs and require a wheelchair space or seating in a particular position email us here providing your name and the event(s) you are attending and we will reserve it for you.

CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE?

Tickets are not on sale at the Tourist Information Centre in Budleigh Salterton.

Subject to availability, you can buy tickets in person in the Festival Marquee during the September Festival.
