Open Mic Poetry Evening

Date: Wednesday 19th September 2018
Venue: Earl’s Coffee House, 60 High Street, Budleigh Salterton | 7pm – 8.45pm

Come and spot a name for the future! Local poets are invited to share their work in an open mic session which throws the floor open to burgeoning new talent.

The event will be hosted by Alasdair Paterson, who has published several collections of poetry, the latest of which is Silent Years (Flarestack Poets 2017).

An Eric Gregory Award winner, Alasdair lives in Exeter, where he presents the monthly Uncut Poets event and is co-organiser of the annual Exeter Poetry Festival.

Come along and listen but numbers for readers are limited so if you’d like to share your work, please apply (with a bit about yourself) by emailing festival@budlitfest.org.uk

Drinks available to purchase.
