Bingo – here’s a challenge for the summer holidays!
Posted on 4th August 2026
Looking for a reading challenge this summer? We've created a Summer Holiday Book Bingo card - a fun and memorable way to celebrate the National Year of Reading and keep young readers engaged throughout the holidays.
Summer Holiday Book Bingo
The card features up to 25 book-based challenges to complete before the summer break ends. Whether you tackle one row or the whole card, every square completed is a step towards discovering new books, authors and stories.
How it works
Download your free bingo card below, or pick up a printed copy from Budleigh Salterton or Exmouth libraries. Work your way through as many rows as you like – then return your completed card to one of our local partner primary schools or to Budleigh Salterton or Exmouth library at the end of the summer.
We’d love to see how you get on.
