Sarah McIntyre and Philip Reeve inspire children in a two day schools tour
The award-winning author/illustrator duo Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre joined us in early July for two fabulous days in local schools.
They wow-ed the children at Marpool, St Peter’s and Littleham Primary Schools, and did a special event at the Deaf Academy in Exmouth with the event signed for the students by staff.
Sarah’s wonderful Adventure Mice drawings and the interactive storytelling with the children was inspiring and lots of books were bought to enjoy at home.
The events are part of the Festival’s charitable commitment to engaging young people in an enjoyment of reading.
