Unable to be with us last year, the Devon based author of War Horse, Private Peaceful and many others is coming back to share with us some of his most loved stories, including his most recent: Flamingo Boy and In The Mouth of The Wolf, both set during WW2.

Morpurgo is one of Britain’s best loved writers for children, and his awards include the Smarties Prize, the Blue Peter Book Award and the Whitbread Award.

War Horse is both a theatrical smash hit, and was adapted as film by Steven Spielberg. A former Children’s Laureate, Sir Michael was the co-founder with his wife Clare, of the charity Farms for City Children.
