Lynne Truss

Turning to Crime

Date: Saturday 22nd September 2018
Venue: St Peter’s Church | 5.30pm
Tickets: £12

Writer and broadcaster, Lynne Truss has written for Woman’s Journal, The Daily Mail, The Times and the Sunday Times, has been Columnist of the Year and shortlisted for Sportswriter of the Year. She has written extensively for radio, including dramas, adaptations and short stories, as well as opening three novels and writing scripts for radio.

Her first book, Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation, was an international bestseller and won the British Book Awards Book of the Year.

Not satisfied with that, she’s now turned her wit and talent to crime fiction and is back to share with us the plot of her first in a series: A Shot in The Dark is about lazy policemen and the brutal murder of a theatre critic on the first night of a play…
