Festival Marquee On The Green

The Marquee on the Green is a haven of hospitality, the hub of the Literary Festival. Over the past years, it has become known as a rendezvous for meeting friends, authors and other festival visitors. It is also a place in which to relax with delicious food and drink, and a venue for browsing the festival books and listening to music. Musicians will be playing for you during Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes, and during each early evening from Wednesday 13 September.

We will also be displaying an exhibition of book covers by Little Toller Books.

OPEN:
Wednesday: 11am until 7pm.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 9.30am until 7pm.
Sunday: 9.30am until 4pm.

POSH NOSH CAFÉ

The Posh Nosh Crew - Festival Marquee

We are delighted that once again Posh Nosh will be providing the refreshments, serving a range of home made, locally sourced dishes. Wines, spirits, beers and refreshing cold drinks will be available throughout the day.

On offer for light bites will be sandwiches, cakes and scones; for lunch there will be a range of fresh seasonal salads, homemade tarts and occasional special treats! If you visit the Marquee in the early evening there will be a different hot dish served daily as an alternative to simple mezze platters, and all this to the accompaniment of live music.
