Sam Bourne is the pseudonym of Jonathan Freedland, the award-winning journalist and broadcaster who has written a weekly column for the Guardian since 1997, having previously served as the paper’s Washington correspondent. As Sam Bourne, he is an enormously successful novelist: his debut, The Righteous Men, was a Richard and Judy Summer Read and a No 1 bestseller. His next two, The Last Testament and The Final Reckoning, were both top ten bestsellers. He’ll be talking about his latest, a fast-paced conspiracy thriller exploring the world of American politics, sexual violence and ideas of justice.
