The former writer and Arts Editor for the Evening Standard and the Sunday Telegraph is the author of a number of books including the bestselling A Very English Scandal, made into a popular BBC drama starring Hugh Grant, and The Dig, recently launched on Netflix with Ralph Fiennes. He’ll be sharing the stories behind his new book, Fall, the jaw-dropping account of one of the 20th century’s most notorious business tycoons and one-time MP Robert Maxwell – what made him the enigma he was and what was behind his extraordinary and controversial disappearance. Talking to Dominic Sandbrook.
