Exeter born Michael Caines, chef/patron of Lympstone Manor, is one of the UK’s most celebrated and acclaimed chefs, a successful and imaginative hotelier, a respected spokesperson for the hospitality industry, and a patron and fundraiser for a number of national and local charities and community organisations. He’ll talk about his stellar career, what makes a great chef and the impact of Covid on the hospitality industry – a situation supported by Chefs at Home, a cookbook which features over 100 recipes from 54 of the nation’s most acclaimed chefs including Michael, Jamie Oliver, Tom Kerridge and Angela Hartnett.

Proceeds from the sale of the book at the event will go to the charity Hospitality Action, which supports industry members affected by the impact of lockdown on their jobs and businesses.
