Marianna Spring, the BBC’s first specialist disinformation and social media reporter and presenter of Panorama and the Death by Conspiracy podcast, explains who is behind this misinformation and what motivates them, and explores the role of platforms like Google and Facebook when it comes to the spread of information – truth or lies.
