Open Mic

Word Kitchen’s popular open mic returns after last year’s sell-out event. Writers at every stage are welcome to take the mic – poets, prose writers, memoirists and more. Expect a rich, lively mix of readings to move and amuse, alongside food and drinks available to purchase on the night.
This year’s headline act is the fabulous poet and comedian Kev Mud described by The Guardian as ‘an intoxicating mix of surreal stand-up and social justice.’
