Most of us will never experience what it means to put our lives on the line for strangers at sea.
Join RNLI volunteer Dominic Gregory for a gripping account of life aboard the Dungeness lifeboat, at the frontline of one of the UK’s most demanding roles. In Lifeboat at the End of the World, he reveals the intense training, trust and teamwork behind every rescue, from stricken vessels to small boats crossing the Channel today.
Our town was deeply affected by the tragic events of Christmas Day 2025 when two men perished at sea. All profits from this event will be donated to the RNLI and the Coastguard Rescue Team.
“ …a hymn to human decency, and that makes it a very timely book indeed.”
