Talking To

Julia Wheeler

We welcome the campaign strategist behind Tony Blair’s 2000 New Labour landslide victory. He then became his press secretary and official spokesperson. A formidable operator, he now co-presents the hugely successful The Rest is Politics podcast with Rory Stewart, and has written about his struggle with depression in All in the Mind. Here he’ll be discussing his first political book in ten years where he addresses the challenges facing politics today – including self-serving politicians and short-term thinking. A mix of polemic, analysis and practical advice, it is delivered with his characteristic forthright commentary.
