His first novel, Ingenious Pain, won many prizes and he has since written five novels including Oxygen, shortlisted for the Whitbread and the Booker Prize, and Pure, which won the Costa Book of the Year award. His latest compelling novel, Now We Are Entirely Free, is the tale of a soldier fleeing and pursued from the disastrous campaign against Napoleon.

The Australian writer, Kate Morton, is the author of five novels, all Sunday Times bestsellers and number one bestsellers around the world. Her debut, The House at Riverton, was one of the most successful UK debuts of all time and her latest novel, The Clockmaker’s Daughter, is set in Victorian England.
