Open Mic Poetry Evening

Date: Wednesday 18th September 2019
Venue: Earl’s Coffee House
Time: 7-9pm
Tickets: SOLD OUT £5

After last year’s sell-out event, we’re back again with an evening at which local poets are invited to share their work.

However experienced you are, join us in an informal session which throws the floor open to burgeoning new and seasoned talent. The event will be hosted once again by Alasdair Paterson who has published several collections of poetry, the latest of which is Silent Years (Flarestack Poets 2017).

An Eric Gregory Award winner, Alasdair lives in Exeter, where he presents the monthly Uncut Poets event and is co-organiser of the annual Exeter Poetry Festival.

Come along and discover new voices, but numbers for readers are limited so if you’d like to share your writing, please apply (with a bit about yourself) by emailing

Drinks available to purchase.
