Winner of the Costa Short Story Award, Luan Goldie has now written a novel, Nightingale Point, set in a working class community in the 90s which is rocked by the events on one day.

Richard Roper is poacher turned gamekeeper – by day non-fiction editor at Headline publishers, and now debut novelist with an enchanting and uplifting story, Something To Live For, about a lonely man with a thankless public health job, searching for the next of kin of those who die alone.

They’ll be talking about not only the diverse subjects of their novels, but what it felt like to challenge new and unchartered waters in their writing.
